Okay, so we want to have a real conversation with our customers about what the typical car buying process has been in the past and how we try to make our solution and service different. Most typical car dealerships thrive on the idea of this old-school process because they depend on that process to get customers to buy cars that might not be the best option for them financially (but it’s great for those dealerships’ bottom lines).

Right now, customers might have a specific idea or category of vehicle they want to purchase and set payment in their head. That type of customer will spend a bunch of time searching for a specific car or truck and get an idea stuck in their head about the type of payment they want. This creates what we call the “adversarial process”. The adversarial process is built around getting more money out of a customer than they expect for a typical dealership. We want to listen (interview if you will) and understand what you want and need out of your new car or truck and match it to fit your budget. Most dealers LIKE IT when you pick a specific vehicle because then you will probably have to go outside of your budget to get that vehicle!

Car buying is the second-largest purchase most people will typically make outside of buying a home. We understand that it can be stressful. We have years of experience understanding that process and have worked to remove those parts of buying a car or truck to make it a solution process instead of an adversarial process!

By positioning ourselves to find solutions, we can avoid the typical car salesman process and work to create a win-win scenario. That’s why we don’t have salespeople – we have Automotive Solution Providers (ASP’s) and we take it seriously – it’s NOT a gimmick.  We work our car buying solutions around our customers’ wants and budgets to get a solution that lasts!
